New Sunday School material launching in September: The Biggest Story Curriculum

God’s story is the most beautiful story ever told, full of wonder and scandalous grace. There is nothing more important for the younger generation than imparting to them a rich vision of the gospel.

Based on the Biggest Story Bible Storybook by pastor Kevin DeYoung, The Biggest Story Curriculum teaches 104 Bible stories from Genesis to Revelation that will help children understand God’s plan to redeem the world through his Son, Jesus.

The Curriculum covers the whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation in five main sections:  the Pentateuch; history; poetry and prophets; the Gospels; and Acts, Epistles and Revelation. Launching on 12th September at both the 10am and 4:30pm Services in our Diggers and Transformers classes we’ll be starting from the beginning in Genesis.

Please pray for the teachers and helpers as they get used to the new material, and pray for our children to grow in their understanding of God’s big plan and their love for Jesus.

Follow along at home

One of the great things about the new curriculum is that there are lots of ways to follow along at home and consoldiate what we’re learning together on Sundays. Here are three different ways:

The Biggest Story Bible Storybook

Written by Kevin DeYoung and Illustrated by Don Clark, the Biggest Story Bible Storybook, show how 104 Bible Stories from Genesis to Revelation fit into the overarching storyline of the Bible. Each reading is coupled with beautiful illustrations and concludes with a reflective prayer.

Perfect for bedtime stories or to read together as a family, both children and parents alike will experience afresh the captivating story of the Bible in an easy-to-understand, compelling way.

The Biggest Story Podcast

Designed for families to enjoy on the way to school, after dinner, before bedtime, or anytime, the Biggest Story Podcast will introduce kids to 104 Bible stories and explain how they all connect to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
