Isaiah 2:1-5; Psalm 122; Romans 13:11-14; Matthew 24:36-44 - Living now in the light of Future Hope
We’re starting a new series for Advent at both the 10am and 4:30pm Services and this Sunday, Assistant Pastor, Tim Guest, will be preaching on the four readings for the First Sunday in advent prescribed by the Reformed Common Lectionary - Isaiah 2:1-5; Psalm 122; Romans 13:11-14; Matthew 24:36-44.
The readings guide us to begin Advent by reflecting on the future hope of God's perfect peace and responding to that hope by engaging in immediate spiritual wakefulness and moral transformation in preparation for the Christ's glorious return.
